Quebobs: Mexican-Mediterranean Fusion

Quebobs Restaurant first opened its doors in October of 2019. But its beginnings started in the streets of LA with a food stand, formally known as FG Kabobs. After vast experience in the Mediterranean food industry, Felipe Garcia, Quebobs' owner, ventured into creating fusion dishes that stayed true to Mediterranean cuisine. Quebobs takes pride in only serving Halal and locally sourced meats. The best quality of ingredients provides the best-tasting food.

Through the support of our loyal customers, we were able to grow our food stand into a restaurant. The fusion and color of our foods have captured the hearts of Angelenos; we cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support. We cannot wait to see where Quebobs Restaurant takes us.

FRESH HALAL PRODUCTS

With the growth of the Muslim consumer market, there is a need to better understand the terms used to describe the many services, needs, and practices related to this segment of consumers. Halal is an Arabic term which means permissible. In Islamic terms, it means permissible according to the rules of Islam. It is most frequently referred to in regards to food, but it includes any type of action permissible in Islam.

All food that is permissible to eat according to the teachings of Islam is called Halal food. This is essentially any food that does not fall into the category of Haram (or forbidden). In Islam, all foods and beverages are Halal except for those that were explicitly forbidden in the Quran. Muslims around the world accept the Quran to be the book of perfect direction and bearing for humankind and believe the Quran to be the last disclosure of God.
